Sept. 29, 2010— -- There is now another way to read eBooks. Amazon has introduced Kindle for the web.

The applicationallows digital book buyers to read their books in a web browser without downloading software. Users can also share book samples with friends via e-mail, Facebook and Twitter.

Twitter is in the process of rolling out its most dramatic overhaul since the site launched four years ago. Users can now check out pictures and video without leaving the site. The Wall Street Journal's Katie Boehret says the visuals are more pleasing.

"I think it's much easier to consume tweets and consume information on the site, but it isn't as easy to post tweets as it should be," Bohret said. "You can't re-tweet someone else's tweet and add your own comment, and you can't easily add photos or videos into your tweets right within Twitter.com."
