Aug. 24, 2010— -- If you liked the original Mafia videogame from 2K, the sequel is here. Mafia 2 makes its U.S. debut today. The player takes on the role of Vito, a man getting involved with organized crime in the 1940's. Jake Ward of Popular Science was impressed with the realistic 1940s scenery and the action.

"The experience in the end is one of a shoot-em-up. You are driving cars to get away from the police, you're breaking into hotel rooms to assassinate a gangland figure" Ward said. "It's very standard gangster stuff, but because the setting is so beautifully specific and so historically accurate, it ends up being really immersive".Mafia 2 works with Playstation 3, Xbox 360 and Windows PC platforms.

We're also hearing about an upcoming videogame that could get you dancing like the "King of Pop". USA Today reports that "Michael Jackson, The Experience" will make its debut in November. The game will help players moonwalk, spin, slide and do all of Jackson's famous moves. The Xbox 360 version will track the player's moves and project the player into a Jackson concert or video.

There are new reports of an online scam involving iTunes and PayPal. Scammers have apparently found a way to buy thousands of dollars in iTunes and charge it to PayPal accounts. One victim was reportedly charged $4700. Apple and PayPal have both told users they're working together to solve the problem.
