Dec. 1, 2010— -- There's a new way to share your holiday wish list with your friends and family. Microsoft is rolling out the Bing Shopping List today. It lets you check mark things you want, and then share your list on Facebook.

The Wall Street Journal's Katie Boehret, however, says the Bing list has a few limitations. "They don't have a way to just send it to certain people. You have to send it to the entire Facebook community.

"They say in the future they'll be working on ways to send this list to certain people only, and they'll also give people a way to create more than one list."

You can read about other wish list services on the Wall Street Journal's website.

For the first time since 2004, a celebrity did not take the top spot on Yahoo's list of most popular searches. The BP oil spill was the most searched item this year. Soccer's World Cup ranked second, followed by celebrities Miley Cyrus, Kim Kardashian and Lady Gaga.
