Oct. 18, 2010— -- Netflix has launched a channel on the Nintendo Wii. Netflix subscribers will now be able to stream movies and TV shows through the video game console without the need for a special DVD. Wii owners can download the channel and use the Wiimote to flip through movie titles. Netflix has also released a similar update for the PlayStation 3.

The top-selling app on iTunes is a puzzle game called Cut the Rope. It stars an adorable monster with an appetite for candy. Your job is to cut ropes with candy attached, and feed it to the monster. Libe Goad of Games.com says it's incredibly addictive."It's just so beautifully designed. They did a great job. Once you think you've kind of mastered it all, there's some other bizarre challenge that you have to complete," Goad said. "And it really just keeps you sucked in for hours". Cut the Rope costs $.99 for the iPhone and $1.99 for the iPad.
