Nov. 8, 2010— -- There's a new way to surf the Web. RockMelt is a new Web browser that integrates social networking, and requires a Facebook account.

Along the side of the main window are two rows of icons, one showing your friends, the other your favorite social sites. Users can easily update their status, keep tabs on their friends or chat with them, all in the browser.

If you have any co-workers or friends who rely on an iPhone, they may show up at the wrong time today. Abug in the alarm app is causing it to ignore the daylight saving time change, leading some alarms to go off at the incorrect time. The glitch will be permanently fixed by a software update later this month.

You can now count Britain's Queen Elizabeth II among Facebook's more than 500 million members. A page featuring videos, photos and daily updates on her engagements went live today. But you won't be able to friend her because it's a corporate page, not a personal one.
