— -- With a tip of the cap to the Flip Mino HD and Creative Vado HD, Kodak's popular Z-series pocket camcorder is also going high-definition.

Announced at the Consumer Electronics Show in Las Vegas, the pocketable Kodak Zx1 digital video camera records 720p high-def video at two frame rates (30 fps and 60 fps) and includes ArcSoft Media Impressions software on the camera for editing clips and easy YouTube uploads. The pocket camcorder has a slot compatible with both SD and SDHC cards, allowing owners to add up to 32GB of storage capacity. Kodak says the Zx1 can hold 20 minutes of 30 fps footage per gigabyte of storage.

The Zx1 will cost $150 and will be available in the spring in a range of colors (black, blue, red, pink, and yellow).
