Apple fans are in for a spring time surprise.
The Cupertino, California, company sent invitations to members of the media today inviting them to "spring forward" at a mystery event slated to be held on March 9 in San Francisco.
Apple is an expert at teasing its events while keeping the agenda under wraps, however it's fair to expect the event will at least bring some new insights into the Apple Watch.
The flagship wearable device is set to ship in April, however Apple hasn't yet revealed an exact release date. The "spring forward" clue could also be a wink to the beginning of Daylight Saving Time on March 8 when people in most states will set their watches ahead one hour.
Let the countdown begin.
