— -- The dating app Hinge is putting cheaters on notice.

Users with a Facebook relationship status listed as "married," "engaged" or "in a relationship" will now be exposed in their Hinge profiles, which are populated using information from a person's Facebook profile.

The updated Hinge version 3.5 will include the updated relationship status feature.

Hinge estimates that 2 percent of its users are in a relationship, while 1.6 percent of users are married or engaged.

"We want to ensure Hinge remains a trusted place for finding relationships," the company said in a blog post announcing the update.
