In honor of St. Patrick's Day, British astronaut Tim Peake shared his view of the Emerald Isle from the International Space Station.

Peake, 43, and his colleagues in space will have plenty more opportunities to catch a glimpse of Ireland today. The International Space Station orbits Earth every 90 minutes, which equates to 16 times in a single day.
