"This Week" remembers Miriam Makeba, Herb Score and Rev. Abraham Woods Jr.

Nov. 16, 2008— -- Miriam Makeba, 76 -- South African singer and activist. Known as Mama Africa, her songs inspired millions to continue the struggle against apartheid.

Herb Score, 75 -- Pitching phenom and voice of the Cleveland Indians.

Rev. Abraham Woods Jr., 80 -- Civil rights pioneer. Led the first lunch-counter sit-ins in Birmingham, and later challenged country club discrimination.

THIS WEEK, THE PENTAGON RELEASED THE NAMES OF SEVEN SOLDIERS AND MARINES KILLED IN IRAQ AND AFGHANISTAN.
