Dec. 21, 2008— -- W. Mark Felt, 95 -- Watergate's "Deep Throat." Associate director of the FBI, his anonymous tips to Bob Woodward helped bring down Richard Nixon's presidency

Paul M. Weyrich, 66 -- Father of modern conservative movement. Coined the phrase "moral majority"; in the 1980s he was instrumental in pushing the right wing of the GOP into power.

Sammy Baugh, 94 -- Quarterback, Washington Redskins. The Hall of Famer led the team to four division titles and two NFL championships in the 1930s and 40s.

THIS WEEK, THE PENTAGON RELEASED THE NAME OF ONE SOLDIER KILLED IN AFGHANISTAN.
