Coming Up: Karl Rove vs David Plouffe on Health Care and the 2010 Elections
Plus Trent Lott, Tom Daschle, George Will and Sam Donaldson on the Roundtable
March 18, 2010— -- With the big House vote on health care expected Sunday no one knows Capitol Hill better than our guest anchor, ABC's Senior Congressional Correspondent Jonathan Karl. He'll start us off with breaking news including where the vote count stands with the Chair of the House Democratic Caucus, Rep. John Larson (D-CT), and the House Minority Whip, Rep. Eric Cantor (R-VA).
Then, our exclusive debate: Plouffe vs Rove. Two key political strategists spar over the politics of health care reform. As the man behind Barack Obama's winning Presidential campaign, David Plouffe has been brought back to map out the Democrats' electoral strategy for the upcoming mid-term election. He'll square off with Karl Rove, "the architect" of President Bush's campaigns. Rove, out with a new book "Courage and Consequence, My Life as a Conservative in the Fight," will provide his analysis on how Republicans should capitalize on the political situation in Washington.
