— -- In a move that brings interactivity to new heights, the National Museum of Crime & Punishment in Washington, D.C., will teach visitors the tricks of the crime-scene investigator (plus the actors on all those CSI shows).

Starting Sunday, the monthly workshops will convene in the museum's mock crime-scene lab, where graduate students from George Washington University will demonstrate fingerprinting, evidence collection, identification via dental records and other skills we hope participants will never have to try at home.

The classes are free with admission ($17.95 adults; $14.95 children). Information: 202-393-1099; crimemuseum.org.
