— -- The National WWII Museum is cooking up a new way to capture culinary history. The New Orleans tourist attraction is calling for personal memories of the rationing of food that took place during World War II.

This national grass-roots program, called Kitchen Memories, plans to collect the stories firsthand from members of the Greatest Generation. Memories, along with recipes, will be gathered by the museum in an effort to salvage the stories while they can still be collected.

For more information on how to submit your stories and photos (or those of family members), visit support. nationalww2museum.org/kitchen memories.
