Sitting in third among the cities at 5:30 p.m. ET, a late surge of votes appeared to push Manchester to the top. Charlotte (18%) had the second-highest vote total, followed by Cleveland (17%), Raleigh/Durham (16%), Dayton (12%), Rochester (8%) and Hartford (7%).

As promised, Today in the Sky will schedule a visit to the Manchester-Boston Regional Airport later this year. Stay tuned for details.

ORIGINAL POST:Tell us where to go literally. With all of the sub-$100 fares out there right now, we figured this would be the time to send Today in the Sky on the road. And, we're going to let you the readers pick where I should go. Vote below for one of seven cities, each of which is currently priced less than $100 from my base in Washington, D.C.

We'll close off the voting at 7 p.m. ET. The airport leading at that time will get a visit from Today in the Sky later this year. I'll fly to that city and blog live from the airport. I'll also try to put together a Today in the Sky "meet-up" and to include some local reporting from that airport. If the "on the road" effort is a success, I hope we can make it a regular Today in the Sky feature.
