How Americans Feel About Pope Francis' Visit

ABC News spoke to people at St. Patrick's Cathedral before the Pope's arrival.

— -- Pope Francis will be the fourth pope to visit the United States -- and many Americans are eager for his arrival later this afternoon.

ABC News spoke to people outside St. Patrick's Cathedral in New York City to see what they would ask the Pope if given the opportunity.

The last time a pope made it to the United States was when Pope Benedict XVI came in 2008. He visited the White House on his 81st birthday.

Pope Francis will land at Andrews Air Force Base outside of Washington D.C. today. Then he will make his way to two other cities in the U.S.
