— -- A teenager in Florida has his younger brother to thank after he was almost electrocuted.

Justin Martin, his brother Dominic and some friends were playing a game similar to hide and seek last Sunday when it happened, reports ABC affiliate WFTS-TV in Tampa. Justin, 16, said he tried climbing onto a roof to hide by jumping on an air conditioning unit and grabbing a metal pole nearby.

But the pole contained 220 volts of electricity that shocked him. Unable to move, Justin said he cried out for help.

"I was screaming 'Help me,'" he recalled.

Dominic, 13, then sprung into action. He first tried pulling his brother off the pole, but the current was too strong. So he tackled Justin away from it.

Their mother, Grace Martin, rushed Justin to the hospital, where he stayed for two days. He only suffered some burn marks on his feet, reports WFTS-TV.

Justin called his brother's actions "amazing."

"I'm so glad he was there," he said.

According to the teenager's mother, property managers told her the pole wasn't grounded correctly. It has now been covered with PVC.
