Oct. 29, 2013

Calling all Beyoncé fans.
Did you ever think you'd hear "Survivor" alongside "Bootylicious"? Or what about "Crazy in Love" becoming "Irreplacable" outside a sold-out stadium arena?
Sure, it may not be Queen B singing her hits herself, but Pentatonix, a Los Angeles vocal group and winners of season three of NBC's "The Sing-Off," has taken the time to artfully arrange 28 Beyoncé classics into a six-minute medley that is music to the Social Climber's ears.

Eminem and Rihanna have once again joined musical talents to unleash a new track, "The Monster," and MTV is already lauding it as an "introspective" duet that's "sure to drive fans crazy."
Just a reminder -- last time Eminem and Rihanna tag-teamed on a single a house went up in flames. Sure, it may have been for show in the "Love the Way You Lie" music video, but who's counting?

Suzanne Somers has something to say about the Affordable Care Act, and The Wall Street Journal gave her a platform on which to say it.
Cyrus also told Cosmopolitan she gets all the support she needs following her split from fiancé Liam Hemsworth from friends like Kanye West and Katy Perry. The Social Climber wishes she could be a fly on the wall for those conversations.
Answer a Riddle, or Risk Turning Into a Giraffe

Don't panic if all of your Facebook friends are changing their profile pictures to giraffes and you don't know why.
"It's 3 a.m., the doorbell rings and you wake up. Unexpected visitors! It's your parents and they are here for breakfast. You have strawberry jam, honey, wine, bread and cheese. What is the first thing you open?"
Facebookers who can't solve the brainteaser must change their profile picture to a photo of a giraffe, and then repost the question to their friends, according to the rules. Thus, the giraffe trend persists.
