— -- 1. Gov. Scott Walker Wouldn't Rule Out U.S. Boots on the Ground in Syria

Wisconsin Gov. Scott Walker, who has surged to the top of the potential GOP 2016 presidential field, said Sunday that he wouldn't rule out putting U.S. boots on the ground in Syria if he were the commander-in-chief.

"We have to be -- go beyond just aggressive air strikes. We have to look at other surgical methods. And ultimately, we have to be prepared to put boots on the ground if that's what it takes," Walker told ABC News' Martha Raddatz on "This Week."

2. 3-Year-Old Fires Single Bullet, Injuring Father and Pregnant Woman

A 3-year-old boy got hold of a gun in an Albuquerque, New Mexico motel room, and fired a single bullet, striking both his father and a pregnant woman, police said Sunday.

The bullet went through his father's hip and hit a pregnant woman in the shoulder, Simon Drobik of the Albuquerque Police Department said.

3. Zamboni Driver Arrested for Suspected DUI at High School Hockey Game

A Zamboni driver was arrested for allegedly driving the large, resurfacing machine while impaired at a North Dakota hockey rink, police said Saturday.

At a high school girls' hockey game in Fargo Friday, some spectators noticed the Zamboni driver exhibiting "erratic behavior" between the first and second period, according to Jim Larson, the director of finance and human resources for Fargo Parks, which runs the rink.

"Some of the parents noticed the driver appeared to be impaired," Larson said.

4. Val Kilmer Undergoing Tests for Possible Tumor

Val Kilmer was undergoing tests for a possible tumor, his rep said Saturday.

The 55-year-old actor was undergoing treatment at Los Angeles Hospital. His two children are caring for him, his rep said.

The actor posted to Facebook, saying he "had a complication" and was admitted into the intensive care unit.
