— -- 1. Head of House Homeland Security Committee Disturbed by Events in Yemen
Rep. Michael McCaul, R-Texas, the chair of the House Homeland Security Committee, said this morning that he was alarmed by the chaos that has engulfed Yemen, which has led to the withdrawal of U.S. special operations forces from the war-torn country.
The Texas congressman also cited the blurring of lines between the various Islamist extremist groups operating in the country as a threat.
"I think these developments in Yemen greatly disturb me, because of the -- their potential to attack the United States," McCaul told ABC News' Martha Raddatz on "This Week" Sunday.
2. Missing Student's Family Hopes Arrest of 'Food Network' Murder Suspect Leads to Remains
The mother of a college student who disappeared 15 years ago hopes the arrest of a North Carolina man charged with the murders of a pregnant TV chef and her husband leads investigators to her son.
Zebb Quinn was 18 years old when he disappeared in 2000. Robert Jason Owens was considered a person of interest in that case but was never charged.
The 37-year-old contractor is being held without bond on three counts of first-degree murder in connection with the deaths of Cristie and Joseph "J.T." Codd and their unborn child.
3. Instagram Photographers Descend on the White House: Here Are Our Favorites
More than 1,500 amateur and professional photographers applied but only about two dozen were selected by the White House to participate in a day of shooting on its grounds.
It was all part of the White House's participation in a "Worldwide InstaMeet," a social media event hosted by Instagram a few times each year where people meet in specific places to "connect, take photos together and inspire one another," the photo-sharing company says.
4. NCAA Tournament 2015: Perfect March Madness Bracket Falls With OSU
The last perfect bracket out of the 11.57 million in Tournament Challenge finally fell Saturday when the Arizona Wildcats knocked off the Ohio State Buckeyes.
Malachi from Cleveland, Ohio, had correctly picked all 32 games through the second round in the ESPN tournament challenge, including upsets by Georgia State and the University of Alabama at Birmingham. He declined to share his last name.
5. Jason Aldean and Brittany Kerr Are Married
Jason Aldean is a married man!
The country star tied the knot with former "American Idol" contestant Brittany Kerr on Saturday night in Mexico, ABC News has confirmed.
"This is the best day ever," Aldean told Us Weekly. "I've got my girl here, my friends, my family. It's the best day ever!"
