1. The Evidence Against Ex-Subway Spokesman Jared Fogle in Child Porn Case

The federal charges unsealed against former Subway spokesman Jared Fogle paint a detailed and shocking portrait of a man allegedly obsessed with child pornography and sex with underage girls.

Fogle has agreed to plead guilty today to one count of child pornography and one count of traveling to engage in commercial sexual acts with minors, the counts he faced in the government's case.

The allegations filed by the federal government in support of the plea agreement paint a grim picture of the evidence against Fogle.

2. 3 Firefighters Killed Battling Wildfire in Washington State, Governor Says

Three firefighters were killed battling a wildfire in Washington state, according to the governor.

"I was just told that three firefighters died while battling the Twisp fire and four were injured," said the state's Gov. Jay Inslee. "My heart breaks over the loss of life."

Four other firefighters were injured near the eastern Washington town.

3. Protests in St. Louis After Police Shooting of Suspect, 18

Officers arrested at least nine people and deployed tear gas amid protests in St. Louis over the death of a black 18-year-old who was fatally shot by police after he pointed a gun at them, the city's police chief said.

Chief Sam Dotson said at a press conference late Wednesday night that a group of protesters who had blocked an intersection threw glass bottles and bricks at officers and refused orders to clear the roadway. Inert gas was used and when that didn't have any effect on the crowd, police turned to tear gas to clear the intersection, Dotson said. Those arrested face charges of impeding the flow of traffic and resisting arrest, he said.

4. Ashley Madison Hack: What's Included in the Data Dump

Personal data believed to have been stolen from the adultery website Ashley Madison has been posted on the dark Web, apparently exposing names, email addresses and phone numbers for some of the website's 37 million members, among other information.

The data dump comes one month after the website's parent company, Avid Life Media, confirmed a "criminal intrusion" into its system. The website connects people looking to have an extramarital affair.

5. Family Photographs Kids With 'Beach Buoy' That Was Actually a Bomb

A family beach outing turned terrifying last week when what was thought to be a washed-up buoy turned out to be an active bomb.

"My children took their boogie boards down and we were going out to the sea," Kelly Gravell of Burry Port, Wales, said. "We saw a large object on the beach, so we thought we’d have a little look.

"We get things washed up all the time, so we thought it was a buoy. We never thought for one second it was a bomb."
