Voting Goes Viral With #VoterSelfie

— -- Voting has come a long way from hanging chads and lever-pulling. Now every American's favorite civic duty even has its own hashtag: #Voter Selfie.

People across the country are showing off their civic pride by snapping pictures of themselves after leaving the polls.

Most voters are showing off by triumphantly holding up a sticker (or stickers) as proof they actually voted. But others have made it a family affair by bringing kids or even pets with them to the polls.

Some lucky voters were able to swipe an extra sticker by taking their children to the voting booth or simply promising to hand them out to their kids when they get home.

Everyone from Georgia residents to New Yorkers wanted to show off their personalized stickers.

Although a few voters were out of luck as sticker supplies dwindled. This voter simply took a photo to prove they had visited the voting booth.
