Masterson is being retried on charges of raping three women between 2001 and 2003 after a deadlocked jury led to a mistrial in November.

Four women claim Masterson sexually assaulted them and that the actor then conspired with the church to cover up the alleged assaults, stalking and harassing them.

The two officers are both expected to survive.
