Priyanka Chopra Jonas shares photos from daughter's first trip to India
The actress also took her daughter to get some "blessings" at a temple.
Priyanka Chopra Jonas recently enjoyed a trip to her home country with daughter Malti Marie.
In an Instagram post on Thursday, the "Quantico" star shared some photos from their visit, 14-month-old Malti's first trip to India.
The snapshots feature the pair's visit to Siddhivinayak Temple in Mumbai. In the images, Chopra Jonas, 40, can be seen dressed in colorful clothing while holding Malti in her arms.
"MM's first trip to India had to be completed with Shree Siddhivinayak's blessings 🙏🏽❤️," she wrote in the caption.
The former Miss World welcomed Malti, whom she shares with husband Nick Jonas, via surrogate in January 2022.
During a recent appearance on the "Armchair Expert with Dax Shepard" podcast, the actress opened up about watching her daughter learn new things.
"It's insane, just seeing her personality every day, seeing her change every day," she said. "Yesterday, she started doing this new thing when she eats. Whenever she's, like, loving her food, she sings. ... She's discovering new food, she eats everything. She likes lamb chop, roti and Korean barbecue, like everything."
Earlier this year, Chopra Jonas discussed motherhood with British Vogue for the outlet's February cover story, saying Malti has given her a new focus in life.
"...[N]ow I feel I have a centre, a sense of calm, because every decision ends up being about her," she said. "There's really nothing more satisfying than seeing her face as soon as her eyes open."
