Drake Buys Rihanna a Billboard to Congratulate Her Ahead of MTV Video Music Awards

Rumors that Drake and Rihanna are dating again are now aflame after the rapper surprised the "Work" singer in over-the-top fashion -- he bought her a billboard. The billboard in Los Angeles reads: "Congratulations to Rihanna from Drake and Everyone at OVO."
The sweet message is in honor of Rihanna, 28, receiving the coveted Michael Jackson Video Vanguard Award at the 2016 MTV Video Music Awards. The show airs Sunday night.
It appears the Bajan singer loved the surprise because she shared a photo of the billboard on Instagram, writing, "When he extra." She added two emojis: a red heart and a gold trophy.
Drake, 29, and Rihanna have been dating publicly off and on since May 2009, though during an interview with Ellen DeGeneres in February, Rihanna said she was not seeing anyone.
"I'm single right now and it's not that I'm like, 'Oh, pro-single, yes, I hate men!' I just think I have so much on my plate that I can't even find the time to entertain a steady relationship or anything serious or even a text," she said on The Ellen DeGeneres Show.
