Bridal party's power pose shows off their incredible dresses with pockets
The pic delighted thousands of pocket lovers on Twitter.
A bride and her bridesmaids have demonstrated what is arguably the best moment to happen in fashion: a dress with pockets.
Evelyn (Eve) Paterson, 24, showed off her wedding gown alongside her bridal party on Dec. 8 as she married Angus James Paterson, 24, at All Saints Woodford Wells, North East London.
A photo of the ladies in a Wonder Woman-like stance was shared on Twitter Jan. 23 by bridesmaid Nell Goddard. She wrote, "My friend got married last month and her dress and the bridesmaids’ dresses ALL HAD POCKETS."
"And yes, we did use them for storing snacks, thank you for asking," she added.
Goddard told "Good Morning America" that Paterson had paid a few extra dollars to ensure each dress had pockets.
"Eve had thought of everything and the pockets meant that we could keep little laminated running orders and table plans for the day on us at all times," said Goddard, who attended college with Paterson.
The bridal party pic delighted thousands of pocket lovers on Twitter who praised Paterson for her idea.
"I have been so blown away by the response, especially from other women," Paterson told "GMA," adding that she bought the gowns from the website KF Bridal. "I always knew my bridesmaids were a stunning, strong, capable and fun-loving group of girls but it's been amazing to find so many other women like that across the Twittersphere."
Paterson said she's happy the Twitter thread shows women supporting women.
