— -- Christopher Cuomo was named co-anchor of "Primetime Live" in April 2004. Since joining ABC News in 1999 , Cuomo has been a versatile correspondent, reporting for numerous platforms, including "20/20," "Primetime Thursday" and "Good Morning America," as well as co-anchoring "Downtown," "Primetime Monday" and occasionally on "Good Morning America," "World News Now" and "World News This Morning." Additionally, Cuomo is now a fixture as an anchor and analyst for ABC News Now, the network's digital cable channel. He is featured on a daily program called "Politics Live."

Cuomo has continued his award-winning news and feature coverage, receiving acclaim from more than a dozen different journalism organizations and award festivals.

Cuomo's "Good Morning America" profile of inspiring 12-year-old poet Mattie Stepanek was recognized with a News Emmy award, making him one of the youngest correspondents to receive this award in network news history.

Cuomo has covered foreign conflicts and has reported extensively on domestic issues such as drug policy and the related developing issues confronting today's youth, from both their legal and human perspectives. He has covered sexual abuse and hazing in high school sports and emerging criminal patterns.

Most recently, he provided on-going coverage of the Martha Stewart criminal trial for all ABC News platforms, as well as both the Democratic and Republican national conventions.

Prior to joining ABC News, Cuomo was a correspondent for the Fox News Channel and Fox Broadcast Network's "Fox Files," where he reported on a wide range of stories, focusing on controversial social issues. He also served as a political policy analyst for Fox News Channel and prior to his affiliation with Fox, made similar appearances on CNBC, MSNBC and CNN.

Cuomo is a licensed attorney. A New York native, he received his law degree from the Fordham University School of Law in New York City, and his undergraduate degree from Yale University.
