That was brought to you by the university of phoenix. A day way from what may be the blockbuster movie of the summer "man of steel" reboot of the superman franchise, particular ly focused on the origin origin, and his father figures, his real fathers and jonathan kent, por kevin costner. Welcome. Thanks. We have the iconic roles in this film and didn't we have a guy like jonathan kent who is more of a blank slate. What did you see? Who did you see him as? Well, he's a person of the land and midwest. And so, it's not that I put so much into it as much as i understood what it would be like to be this man, a farmer and have this baby sho up on their doorstep, so to speak. As big a movie as perhaps I've seen and your scenes with your son, some of the smaller, more intimate moments. I want to show one. This is a look at your relationship with clark. And explains the father/son dynamic. All of these changes, one day you'll think of them as a blessing. When that day comes you'll have to make a choice. A choice of whether to stand proud in front of the human race or not. Can I just keep pretending I'm your son? You are my son. What was it for you to take on this idea that he's going to have make these choices but you're preparing him to make that choice? My part was about the little things you try to impart that hopefully carry forward and i think in our life we know that our kids, we're not sure they're ever listening but it's only later, when you see them kind of resurrect an idea that you put in their head. I was reading, you weren't necessarily taken with superman as a kid. When I was little, I thought it's not real. I tried to fly and I fell off the couch, tried to fly, fell off the roof. I guess I liked westerns more than I thought about superheroes. I got involved because zach snyder was doing this, he's a true visionary. A lot of guys out there that are working special effects and it's unbelievable what can be done in the movies. And superman is as big a movie as I'll probably ever be in. A flow of. Good luck with it and thanks so much for coming in. Pre appreciate it.
