New Jersey Senate Results

In New Jersey, based on the exit poll and our analysis of the vote in so far, ABC News projects that in the Senate race, Democrat Bob Menendez will win over Republican Joe Kyrillos.

The Democratic incumbent was appointed to the U.S. Senate in late 2005 to fill the seat vacated by Jon Corzine when the latter resigned from the Senate following his election as governor of New Jersey. Menendez won his own full six-year term later that year. He currently serves as one of only two Latino members of the Senate, the other being Republican Marco Rubio.
