  • Fla. woman reports to jail each weekend with new hairdo

Kaylin Ransom of Ocala, Fla., agreed to a plea deal in a felony battery and child abuse case in which she works during the week and spends her weekends in jail. The arrangement allows her to keep her job as a hairdresser and continue supporting her children. Each weekend, the Lake County jail takes a new mug shot of Ransom -- and Ransom gets ready for her weekly appointment with the jail photographer with fresh make-up, high-gloss lip gloss and a new hairstyle. Ransom has now spent 28 weekends in jail as part of her 90-day sentence.
