"Thirtysomething" star Timothy Busfield has reportedly been hit by the foreclosure wave. The 53-year-old actor is facing foreclosure on his home, according to TMZ. The website says the actor, who is best known for playing Eliot Weston on the hit ABC drama, hasn't been paying the mortgage on his Malibu, California home and the bank is threatening to foreclose and auction off the house in January if the bill isn't paid.
It's been more than 20 years since the hit television series "thirtysomething" debuted on ABC in 1987. The series' tagline was "real life is an acquired taste," and the show focused on the trials and tribulations of a group of 30-something couples, friends and co-workers living in Philadelphia. Despite early criticism for its focus on the mundane aspects of everyday life, fans came to embrace the show's portrayal of young adult issues and relationships. So what have the seven primary cast members been up to since the show went off the air in 1991?

Ken Olin (Michael Steadman): Michael Steadman and his wife Hope Steadman were the core couple of the series. Michael worked at an advertising agency with his friend Eliot Weston and was burdened by his responsibilities at home and at the office. In real life, Ken Olin is married to "thirtysomething" co-star Patricia Wettig, and both currently star on the ABC series "Brothers & Sisters." Olin has also made a name for himself behind the camera, directing episodes of "Alias," "The West Wing," "Judging Amy" and "Brothers & Sisters."
Mel Harris (Hope Steadman): Married to Michael Steadman, Hope was conflicted over her decision to be stay-at-home mom. Another recurring theme on the show was Michael and Hope's interfaith marriage – he was Jewish and she was Christian. Hope's best friend on the show was Ellyn Weston. Mel Harris is still a familiar face to TV viewers. She's had roles on "The West Wing," "Dawson's Creek," "House" and other series.
Peter Horton (Gary Shepherd): Horton played womanizing bachelor and college professor Gary Shepherd. Gary, who once said, "I think I'm missing the relationship chromosome," was romantically involved with his best friend Michael Steadman's cousin, Melissa. Horton has had a successful acting career post-"thirtysomething." Recently he's starred in "In Treatment" and "Brothers & Sisters." Like Olin, he honed his skills behind the camera while directing some episodes of "thirtysomething," and went on to direct the pilot of "Grey's Anatomy" as well as episodes of "Once and Again," "The Shield" and other shows.
Melanie Mayron (Melissa Steadman): Michael Steadman's cousin on the show, her character, a photographer, had an affair with Gary. Mayron directed the movie "The Baby-Sitters Club" and many television shows and has appeared in "In Treatment" and the new Lifetime series "Drop Dead Diva."
Patricia Wettig (Nancy Weston): Nancy was a stay-at-home mom on the show, and she also struggled with husband Elliot's affairs. Later in the series Wettig's character battled cancer. Since "thirtysomething" ended, Wettig starred on "Alias" and "Prison Break." She now stars on "Brothers & Sisters" with husband Ken Olin.
Polly Draper (Ellyn Warren): On "thirtysomething," Ellyn Warren was the driven, single career woman. Draper has also been hard at work since the show went off the air as a writer and director. Most recently, she created, produces and directs on the Nickelodeon series, "The Naked Brothers Band," which stars her sons. "thirtysomething" co-star Melanie Mayron has appeared on the show.
