Anna Faris Opens Up About How Tabloid Cheating Rumors Affected Her: I Was 'So Hurt'
The actress opened up during her podcast, "Anna Faris Is Unqualified."
— -- Anna Faris is getting real about how tabloid rumors affect her and her marriage to Chris Pratt.
The actress was interviewing "Nocturnal Animals" star Isla Fisher on her podcast, "Anna Faris Is Unqualified," when the topic came up.
Fisher, 40, explained why she refrains from talking about her husband, Sacha Baron Cohen, and their children. Faris responded that she "completely" understands.
"Chris and I, we talk about this a lot," Faris continued. "We grapple with a lot of the ideas of being a public couple."
"For the first time, maybe a year ago or ten months ago, there was some tabloid rumors about [a] strain in our relationship," Faris added, "and I just remember feeling so hurt in a way that bothered me because I didn't want to think of myself that could be affected by ... tabloid s---."
When Fisher, 40, asked "what hurt the most," either the public's perception of their relationship or the actual story, Faris said it was a "combination of things."
"I'm in this crazy world where he's off doing movies and I'm in LA raising our child," Faris started. "Of course I'm going to feel vulnerable like any human would."
Despite knowing the rumors were false, "It made me feel incredibly insecure," Faris added.
Faris, 40, married Pratt, 37, in 2009. The two have one son, 4-year-old Jack.
