'Bachelorette' Stars JoJo Fletcher and Jordan Rodgers Discuss Her Neil Lane Engagement Ring
Get the details of the 3-carat bauble and who will make the wedding guest list.
— -- "Bachelorette" fans watched Monday night as Jordan Rodgers slipped a diamond ring onto JoJo Fletcher's finger after proposing to her on a beach in Thailand.
Today, the former NFL quarterback told reporters during a press call that he knew immediately that the sparkler was the one for Fletcher.
His bride-to-be agreed, calling the ring "perfect."
"It's so simple, yet elegant," Rodgers, 27, gushed of the Neil Lane design. "It's exactly what I would've picked out not knowing what she wanted ... [but] that's the exact one she wanted, so that was a big moment of relief!"
Fletcher's ring is handcrafted in platinum, featuring a centrally set oval diamond and a diamond-encrusted band set with more than 155 smaller, round stones. The total weight of the ring is 3 carats.
"I told him at the end of the day I want him to pick his favorite ring," Fletcher, 25, said. "I had no clue the ring he was going to pick out, he ended up picking the one that I would've [selected]!"
Another thing the newly engaged couple is on the same page about is what they hope their wedding will be like. Fletcher told reporters she's sending Pinterest images to her fiance, and that she hopes they have a big "outdoor, rustic wedding" attended by tons of friends and family.
And, yes, Rodgers said, his older brother Aaron, from whom he is estranged, will certainly be on the guest list.
"There's no scenario in which I wouldn't want my entire family at a wedding so, absolutely, that's something all of our family wants and hopes for at some point," he said.
