Sept. 2, 2013— -- intro: Tom Clancy died last night in a hospital in Baltimore at the age of 66. The American author, known most recently for his very successful "Splinter Cell" games, also wrote influential espionage novels that were turned into blockbuster movies featuring his heroic character Jack Ryan. Clancy's edge-of-your-seat plots were able to garner some of the biggest names in Hollywood to appear in his films. Take a look and see who he worked with.
