— -- Kaitlyn Bristowe’s search for love on “The Bachelorette” is now down to two men after the reality-TV star sent suitor Ben Higgins home without a rose.

“I think I was very, very aware that her relationship with other guys when she sent me home had probably progressed farther, but you still miss Kaitlyn,” Higgins, 26, told ABC News.

Bristowe is now left to choose between two men who have a tense, high-drama relationship between them, Nick and Shawn.

“One of the appeals of Ben to her was that he was drama free,” Kristen Baldwin, Yahoo TV's editor-in-chief, said of Bristowe. “Now she’s left with Nick and Shawn who really hate each other and that upsets her and makes her anxious.”

On Monday night’s episode, Shawn and Bristowe had an overnight date that took them to the golf course and saw Shawn streak across the course after Bristowe beat him at the game.

“Mom, Dad, Granny, you might want to change the channel for this one,” Shawn joked on the episode.

In a scene that did not make the air, Bristowe reveals why she and Shawn’s nemesis, Nick, are also a match.

“I am a little bit sillier or goofier than most girls he would go after and he’s a little bit more serious than most guys that I go after, but I think we really appreciate that in each other,” Bristowe said in the deleted scene.

Bristowe has already won over both Shawn and Nick’s families, making her final decision even more difficult.

“When I think about saying goodbye to one of the two I have left, I don’t know how to do it,” she said on Monday night’s episode.

Fans of “The Bachelorette” are also divided and taking to social media to help Bristowe decide. The hashtag #thebachelorette was a top trend on Twitter Monday night, as fans split between #TeamShawn and #TeamNick.
