What David Arquette Thinks of Courteney Cox's New Man Johnny McDaid
It's all about what's best for his daughter Coco.
Feb. 26, 2014 — -- The most civil split in Hollywood history continues between Courteney Cox and David Arquette.
Arquette, 42, and Cox, 49, divorced last year after 13 years of marriage, but ever since Cox has wished nothing but the best for her former flame.
Now, it's Arquette's turn, and he has nothing but great things to say about Cox's new man, rocker Johnny McDaid, 37.
"He's amazing," Arquette told Wendy Williams on her show that aired Monday. "Great guy."
McDaid was recently photographed with Cox and Arquette's daughter Coco, 9, in Italy, and even she seemed to approve of her mom's new man, hugging and holding the rocker's hand in pictures from the vacation.
Arquette doesn't know whether Cox is ready to tie the knot again, but for him, it's all about what makes his little girl Coco happy.
"My whole thing is that, he's a great man and to have someone kind, that you trust around your kid is the most important part," Arquette said.

He added that Cox is "an amazing mother and a dear friend. We are great co-parenters together."
Arquette has a new love himself, Entertainment Tonight correspondent Christina McLarty, and the two are less than three months from having a baby boy of their own.
The actor said Coco is fine with getting a baby brother, on one condition.
"She was like, 'I'm gonna be fine with it as long as he worships me.' She actually said that," he added.
