Dr. Teeth and the Electric Mayhem Perform Live for the First Time
The Muppet band played a 20-minute set in San Francisco.
— -- More than 40 years after their first appearance on the Muppet Show, Dr. Teeth and the Electric Mayhem have finally made their "live" debut.
Muppet band members Mr. Teeth, Animal, Lips, Floyd Pepper, Janice and Zoot took the stage for a 20-minute set at the Outside Lands Festival in San Francisco on Saturday, according to Rolling Stone. The band, opening for Third Eye Blind, Chance the Rapper and Lionel Richie, performed five songs with, of course, some comedy sprinkled in between.
The band played "Can You Picture That?" from "The Muppet Movie" along with some covers, including the Beatles' "With a Little Help From My Friends."
The performance was complete with an appearance from the Oakland Tabernacle Choir and a few drum solos courtesy of Animal.
