'Fifty Shades of Grey' Star Dakota Johnson Has 'No Shame' in Her Game
The young actress talked about being ready for those sultry sex scenes.
Feb. 6, 2014 — -- For anyone questioning if Dakota Johnson has what it takes to play Anastasia Steele in the movie adaptation of "Fifty Shades of Grey," the daughter of Don Johnson wants everyone to know she can handle the sex scenes.
"I don't have any problem doing anything. The secret is I have no shame," she told Elle magazine, which hits newsstands Feb. 18.
But even though "Fifty Shades" is known for its bondage and S&M, the young actress, 24, said it was the chemistry between the main characters - Steele and Christian Grey - that really caught her attention.

"Reading the book, I found myself more interested in the ways they were breaking each other down emotionally than the sex scenes," she said. "I think there's a part of a woman that wants to be the thing that breaks a man down."
Along with her famous father, Johnson is the daughter of Melanie Griffith, something that wasn't always easy when she was growing up.
"I think people, especially the press, like to pick on children of famous people and I think that's f-----g awful," she added. "Things get made up. It's so, so sad. And there's absolutely nothing you can do about it as a 16-year-old. You're like….Why? What did I do?"
