— -- On last night's epic Season 6 finale of "Game of Thrones," lots of characters were killed off.

SPOILER alert!

Let's get into the nitty gritty.

We lost not only the High Sparrow but Tommen and his cunning bride as well. All together a lot of characters met their fate in season 6.

Let's a take a look back at the original cast and see who's still around and what they're up to now. (Not everyone will be included, so don't freak out.)

Targaryen

Daenerys - she's still around and in a big way. At the end of the finale, we see the Mother of Dragons sail to King's Landing with one thing on her mind -- the Iron Throne.

Viserys - DEAD. Remember, he had molten metal poured on his head.

Stark

Jon Snow - he was killed off, then came back and now his lineage has changed and he's not Ned Stark's kid?! He may also be part Targaryen, which could get very interesting.

Sansa - dhe's had a rough road. First Joffrey, then Ramsay. But she's poised for greatness.

Rickon - DEAD, arrow through the heart.

Robb - DEAD, Red Wedding.

Bran - He's now the three-eyed Raven and powerful. He's also the only one who knows Jon's true mother.

Ned (Eddard) - DEAD, off with his head!

Catelyn - DEAD, but at least Ned didn't cheat.

Arya - she's now a many face assassin!

Hodor (not by blood, but basically) - DEAD, but he held the door!

Baratheon

Renly - DEAD

Robert - DEAD, heavy is the head who wears the crown.

Tommen - DEAD, he's also really a Lannister, but he jumped out of a window last night.

Joffrey - DEAD, poisoned wine, plus he's another Lannister.

Lannister

Cersei - she's alive and thriving. After a rough season 6, she's back as queen on the Iron Throne and will be exacting revenge in season 7, no doubt about that.

Tyrion - he's now the hand of Queen Dany.

Tywin - DEAD, Tyrion shot him with an arrow while he was on the privvy.

Jaime - he's lost his daughter and both his sons, but now Jaime is back with his love Cersei and the two are free to rule with an iron fist.

Miscellaneous

Theon Greyjoy - this is a long one. He was with the Starks, then betrayed them, then was captured and tortured, then freed Sansa, and now he's helping his sister to try and claim the Iron Islands.

The Hound - he was supposedly dead, then came back, led a peaceful life before his friends were killed. Now, he's back like Jason Bourne doing what he does best.

The Mountain - he's dead, but alive, but really dead. So he was stabbed during a trial by combat and suffered from a poison spear. He was saved but is like a "Thrones" zombie now. He protects Cersei, the now queen.
