Julia Roberts is Happy Being a Soccer Mom
The Oscar winner opens up about her three "perfect" kids.
— -- She is still a "Pretty Woman," but Oscar winner Julia Roberts has officially taken to the title of soccer mom.
While speaking with Extra at the SAG Awards this past Sunday, the actress and mother of three -- twins Hazel and Phinnaeus, 10, and Henry, 7 -- said she came to the red carpet solo because her husband Danny was working on a movie and one of their brood was sick.
She added that her children "are awesome" and "perfect."
"Soccer, soccer, soccer, soccer," she said when asked what they have been up to. "I've been a soccer mom for a while but it's soccer, basketball, aerial yoga - those are things that rule our home."
In 2013, Roberts, 47, opened up to ABC News about how her children view what she does, especially in the public eye.
"My older children are starting to understand a little bit more clearly what it is that I do for a living," she said. "They know it involves makeup, because it's the only time they see me with makeup on. They are starting to put it together, but it's a funny thing being an actor and having your kids understand what that means."
The "Erin Brockovich" star said that her kids come first, so future movies have to fit into their schedule.
"Especially now, all three of my children are in school, so most things get dictated by the school schedule," she said. "Everything works out in the end."
