Khloé Kardashian Says Mom Kris Jenner's Affair 'Destroyed' Robert Kardashian
The reality star also opened up about James Harden's infidelity.
— -- Khloé Kardashian said she won't ever be unfaithful in a relationship after seeing how her mother's affair affected her late father, Robert Kardashian.
"I love my mom [Kris Jenner], but my mom cheated on my dad, which is like -- she's been honest about it -- but I think because of that, and I saw how it, like, destroyed my dad, I've never, ever cheated in any relationship," Khloé said on Wednesday's episode of "Kocktails with Khloé."
Jenner and Robert Kardashian, who is now being portrayed by David Schwimmer in the FX drama "The People v. O.J. Simpson: American Crime Story," were married for 13 years. The two split in 1991. He later died of esophageal cancer at age 59 in 2003.
"I just believe in being honest," Khloé continued, "and even if you're not feeling something ... you don't even have to want to cheat, if you're just not fully invested in the relationship, I believe in being honest about that."
Infidelity is also why Khloé's last relationship with NBA player James Harden didn't work out, she revealed. On "Kocktails with Khloé," the reality star said she suggested the two "see each other when we see each other," but Harden wanted a real commitment.
"Like, why wouldn't you say, 'Ok, that's great!' Nope, he sought me out. He wanted to be committed and you know, then, wasn't committed," she explained. "So KoKo had to let him go, go. ... I was like great, this guy's in it for the long haul. Let's do it. [Then I] found out he wasn't! And I got the receipts to prove it."
Khloé and Harden were first reported to be dating back in July. The two recently split up.
Their break-up occurred around the time she called off her divorce from her estranged husband, Lamar Odom, who was hospitalized last October due to a drug overdose. Khloé clarified on "Good Morning America" back in January that although she's called off their divorce, "it's all about his health and my happiness and his happiness and right now those are two individual things."
