Kristen Bell Speaks Out About Married Life With Two Kids
Kristen Bell chats about all things family with ABC News.
— -- Kristen Bell is quite the busy gal.
But when it comes to juggling a career and family life, the 34-year-old actress said that all is running smoothly.
"We have a great support system," Bell told ABC News. "It really does take a village, but we're not the first people to have two kids."
"He's an incredibly hands-on father," she said of husband Dax Shepard. "Only one of us works at a time. It might seem like we're both working at the same time, but were pretty conscious of having one person with the kids."
Bell, who gave birth to Delta in December, said that her eldest, Lincoln, 23 months, is doing great being a big sister.
"She hasn’t asked to send her back to the hospital yet and that’s all I was hoping for," she said with a laugh.
As for nightly routines like getting the kids to brush their teeth, Bell remains optimistic for those moments to come.
"Well only one of them have teeth. We hope the other one gets teeth, we see it in the coming future," said the spokeswoman of Crest and Oral-B.
"Reasoning with a toddler is like reasoning with a ceiling fan. Again, I'm pretty much at the point of asking over and over again until she becomes interested."
And while she enjoys the occasional mani/pedi, Bell said she simply prefers hanging out with her girls.
"Having kids sort of re-prioritizes things for me, so I don’t care if I get that much 'me' time, cause all I want to do is spend time with them," she said.
