Lamar Odom is Walking and Talking, Khloe Kardashian Says
"Doctors are astonished," she said, calling his recovery "literally a miracle."
— -- It's been three months since Lamar Odom was first hospitalized in Nevada, but his estranged wife said that he's doing better than doctors could have predicted.
Khloé Kardashian said that the former NBA player had been in a coma and was only expected to live for four hours, but now, he's walking and talking.
The reality TV star called his recovery "literally a miracle."
"Doctors are astonished by how quickly he's advancing," she said during an appearance on Watch What Happens Live!. "He's fighting for his life and I really pray that this is a wake-up call for him and he changes his life."
Kardashian, 31, and Odom, 36, split in late 2013 after four years of marriage. However, after Odom was found unconscious in a Nevada brothel this past October, Kardashian ended divorce proceedings while they focused on his recovery.
"I didn't know that particular situation was gonna happen but I always feared that the end result was gonna happen. That was obviously a reason why I left the marriage," she explained. "His demons are overshadowing what a great heart he has and I know his soul is still great and he's a beautiful person."
