— -- Former "Glee" star Naya Rivera is splitting from her husband of two years, Ryan Dorsey.
The two have a 1-year-old son, Josey.
In a joint statement, the couple told ABC News: "After much consideration, we have made the decision to end our marriage. Our priority is and always will be our beautiful son that we share together. We will continue to be great co-parenting partners for him. We ask for respect and privacy for our family during this difficult time."
Rivera, 29, and Dorsey, 33, wed in Cabo San Lucas, Mexico, in July 2014 -- only three months after the actress called off her engagement to rapper Big Sean.
The two were reportedly friends for years before finally getting together in April 2014.
At the time of their nuptials, Rivera called their union meant to be.
"Our special day was fated and everything we could have ever asked for," she told People magazine. "True love always prevails."
It was the first marriage for both.
