On Sunday, a few of the stars of the Netflix show - including Danielle Brooks (Taystee), Samira Wiley (Poussey), Dascha Polanco (Dayanara), Yael Stone (Morello), Matt McGorry (Bennett) -attended the Gay Pride Parade in New York City. Laverne Cox, who plays Sophia, served as the grand marshal.Meanwhile, at the other end of the country Lea DeLaria, or Boo, attended the Gay Pride festivities in San Francisco.
