Peter Facinelli Engaged to Actress Jaimie Alexander

— -- After more than two years of dating, Peter Facinelli and Jaimie Alexander are engaged.

The "Thor" actress said "Yes" to the "Twilight" star on Monday at the top of the Empire State Building, , her rep confirmed to ABC News.

Facinelli, 41, was previously married to Jennie Garth until 2013. They have three children together.

Facinelli told ABC News back in 2013 that he was "happy where I am right now" co-parenting with Garth and being with Alexander, 31.

The couple were first linked at the end of 2012 after appearing on "Nurse Jackie together."

Alexander posted a photo of the big moment, captioned, "Top of the world with my love @peterfacinelli @empirestatebldg #Love #ES."

A request for comment from Alexander's rep was not immediately returned to ABC News.
