— -- "Deadpool" star Ryan Reynolds was in the parking lot of his Vancouver hotel on Friday when he was hit by a car, according to local police.
Reynolds' rep told ABC News, "While walking, Ryan was struck by a paparazzi driving a car through an underground parking garage. The man fled the scene. Ryan is okay."
Police added that the crash was "minor," reported CTV News in Vancouver. Reynolds, who was born in Vancouver, was in the city filming his latest Marvel movie.
In addition, the Shangri-La Hotel stated it has "extended our full assistance to the authorities."
Reynolds himself joked about the incident after a local station reached out to him via Twitter.
"Put Beachcombers back on the air and I'll call [the station about the accident]," he wrote, alluding to a TV show that played on its station.
