— -- Sandra Bullock showed her support for working moms in the Hollywood industry during the 2016 People's Choice Awards.
The "Our Brand Is Crisis" star took home the award for favorite movie actress at the People's Choice Awards Wednesday night, and called attention to working mothers in her acceptance speech.
“I was trying to figure out why I love what I do so much, and it wasn’t so much the end result, as it is the company I make along the way" Bullock said. "You, the people, have allowed me to be in great company tonight with these women I share this category with. ... They all break molds, push that glass ceiling up and they’re all mamas. We’re all working mamas who love what we do.”
Bullock, 51, is mother to son Louis Bardo and daughter Laila. Bullock adopted Louis in January 2010, and the "Gravity" actress adopted Laila last month.
Bullock noted that her son inspired the last part of her acceptance speech, in which she thanks the planet and the people on it.
"On behalf of this mama, I would like to say thank you to the people on this planet for once again the great company, giving me a memory and this. Thank you so much," Bullock said.
