Dec. 2, 2014— -- intro: Scarlett Johansson sure knows how to keep a secret.

The 30-year-old "Avengers" star is the latest celebrity to pull off a secret wedding away from the prying eyes of the paparazzi. Johansson secretly wed her fiancé Romain Dauriac on Oct. 1 in Philipsburg, Montana, a clerk for Granite County confirmed to ABC News.

A rep for the actress confirmed Johansson’s engagement to Dauriac in September 2013. A year later, the actress gave birth to their first child, a daughter named Rose.

The actress or her rep has yet to comment publicly on the marriage, but earlier this year, Johansson told WSJ magazine that she wasn't exactly planning her wedding.

"Our plan is to get married at some point," she told the magazine.
