— -- Craig Strickland's wife Helen tweeted Thursday that the area in which Oklahoma authorities are looking for the missing singer has been cut in half.

There's still no trace of the Backroad Anthem front man after almost a week.

"Boat marks, foot prints & dog prints were found today. No other sign of #CraigStrickland, but this cuts the amount of search area by 50%," Helen Strickland tweeted.

She later clarified that the prints were from Sunday, when Strickland and his friend, Chase Morland, entered the water in northern Oklahoma during a hunting trip in the midst of a storm.

Morland's body was discovered on Monday in a lake just north of Tulsa, the Associated Press reported. Helen Strickland tweeted that day that her husband's boat "has been confirmed as capsized."

Helen Strickland thanked well-wishers for their support on social media.

"We are overwhelmed with the love and prayers we have received. Thank you all," she tweeted Tuesday.
